Bunsen burner

The Bunsen burner produces a very hot flame from a mixture of gas and air. The gas supply is hidden. Use the slider to turn the Bunsen burner on and adjust the flame size.

The maximum flame temperature is approximately 800° C.

When heating a liquid, the rate at which the temperature rises is increased 20 or 30 times. This rapidly brings liquids to boiling point.
